Dear Parents,
We are all very excited about the annual reports going home today. Please look out for a large white envelope coming your way soon! There should not be any surprises contained in these reports but if you would like to speak to either your child’s class teacher or myself, please do not hesitate to come in and talk to us.
It has certainly been a pleasure to write this year’s reports. So much progress has been made by everyone that it was a joy to read them and include my personal comments. Miss Fiske and I have spent all day giving Year Six their SATs results before they take their reports home and it has been a bit of an emotional rollercoaster. Let’s just say that there were lots of tears of happiness and hugs all round. A great end to the year!
If you do not receive your child’s report today, please come to the School Office as you may owe some Lunch money.
End of Year Service
Speaking of emotional events, we will be holding our Leavers’ Service on Thursday 22nd July at St. Saviour’s Church. The service will start at 1:15 p.m. and all classes will be involved in a celebration of another successful school year. The choir have also prepared two wonderful songs. Year Six will be presented their Leavers’ dictionaries and we will be announcing the final winner of the ISA prize. As is tradition, Year Six will be ending the service with their own leaving song so please bring plenty of tissues with you!
Please arrange for your child to be collected from the church at 2:00 p.m. as this will be the end of the school year.
Fame At Last!
Thank you to the Javed family for sending in a cutting from the Evening Standard about how wonderful Maida Vale is as a place to live. Under the section about Schools, they listed two outstanding local schools – St. Joseph’s and St. Saviour’s! Wonderful!
