Geographer of the Week

Geographer of the Week

Every week we select a child who has shown most interest in the world around them to select a Country of the Week.

In our classes, we try to find out as much information about that country as we can so that we can tell Ms. Woodford about it during our Friday assembly. We look on Youtube to see if there is a video clip of the country and this is shown to all of us.

This week, we were treated to an amazing PowerPoint presentation from Lola Schroer about Kenya – this included lots of information about animals, plants and the Kenyan people as well as a sound track from Out of Africa! Lola chose for us to study next week.
