Our School Dog

Ms. Woodford brings a special "staff" member to our school on Mondays and Thursday. It was not a child or an adult - it is our school Dog called Ripley!

Ripley is a Border Terrier and he sits patiently in Ms. Woodford's office playing with his many toys. He has a very busy social life and often visits classes and different clubs. He is certainly proving popular!

Ripley was named after two of Ms. Woodford's favourite books: The Talented Mr. Ripley and Ripley's Believe it or not! (which she used to use to help reluctant readers when she was a class teacher).

Everyone thinks that Ripley is a very polite dog as he is always wagging his tail and really enjoys a cuddle! His full name is Ethlencoral Macawber at Kohort - not a name he answers to in the park!

Ripley has now started agility lessons and is very good at jumping and going through tunnels. However, he does get very excited and does need to curb his enthusiasm when other dogs are having their go!

Ripley is now 18 months old!
