Committee members are elected for a period of three years and Class Reps for one year. Elections are held each year at the AGM which is held in September.

The Committee members take their role of fund raising very seriously and at PTA meetings the Committee members take time to consider the various bids from the teachers for equipment, as well as considering the larger requests for funding.

The Class Representatives work alongside the Committee and are responsible for encouraging parents from their class to help at the various events.

The Committee meets on the first Tuesday of each month and the Class Reps meet with the Committee on the first Thursday of each month

Each term, one or more major event is held. In the Autumn term, we have the International Evening, the Christmas Bazaar and the Christmas Disco, in the Spring term an Auction of Promises and our famous adult Quiz Night. In the Summer term there is the Summer Fair, Sponsored Run, and the Expressive Arts Concert. Hopefully, new for 2008, we will have a Summer Ball.

In addition to these “biggies”, there are also numerous other fund raising activities that run throughout the year: Cake Sales, Non-uniform days and Hat competitions.
