Today, Chess is one of the world’s most popular games, played by an estimated 605 million people worldwide!

If you would like to be one of them, then come and join St Saviour's Chess Club and let Mr Hamchary teach you the basics of the game!

Each week you will learn the basic moves, strategy of the game, improve your skills and play matches against each other and Mr Hamchary.

There are also inter-school competitions to look forward to when you have mastered the game.

Lunch time matches
Don't forget if you want to challenge one of your friends to a match during the week, there are Chess Boards (& pieces) available.
If you do want to play Chess at lunch time there are tables (near to the climbing wall) in the playground. Speak with Mrs Mackay or one of the other lunch time supervisors who will tell you where the boards are kept.
